INTERNATIONAL BEAGLE HARE FUTURITY
PURINA AWARD
IN 2005 PURINA PET FOODS WILL OFFER AN AWARD FOR THE
OUTSTANDING INTERNATIONAL BEAGLE HARE FUTURITY HOUND
PURPOSE: To
recognize the Futurity registered hound with the best record in the Futurity
and AKC/CKC Large Pack Trials during their 2 year old year.
ELIGIBILITY:
Hound must be registered with the Futurity Secretary prior to turning 1
year old and must be a starter in the current Futurity trial.
DEFINITIONS: FUTURITY YEAR: Refers to the calendar year January 1st
to December 31st of the same year that the hound is registered to
enter the Futurity trial. Hounds registered
with the Futurity, run the year they turn 2 years old.
LICENSED TRIAL: Refers to both AKC/CKC Large Pack trials. Only 2 CKC Large Pack trials count towards
this award, the first and last Large Pack trial held at each club.
LICENSED LARGE PACK TRIAL
POINTS: Points will be awarded to
the hound regardless of the class in which the hound places.

THE IBHF AWARDS COMMITTEE WILL BE FINAL

All hounds must be pre-registered with
the Futurity Secretary/Tabulator to eligible for any entry and awards.
A Purina Cup will be given yearly
at the following year trial that the points were earned.
BREEDER
and HOUND OWNER will receive Awards.
HOUND OWNER: Purina Cup, Purina lettered Jacket and Cap
and 500 pounds of Purina Feed.
BREEDER: Award Plaque, Purina lettered Jacket and Cap
and 500 pounds of Purina Feed.

FUTURITY TRIAL: 1st
Place= 20 pts
2nd
Place= 16 pts
3rd
Place= 12 pts
4th
Place= 8 pts
NBQ= 4 pts
6th
Place= 0 pts
LICENSED
TRIAL: 1st Place= 15 pts
2nd
Place= 12 pts
3rd
Place= 9 pts
4th
Place= 6 pts
NBQ= 3 pts
Also 1 point
will awarded for hounds placing out of their home state or province. Only 1 point and only 1
time.
TIES WILL
BE BROKEN USING THE FOLLOWING CONSIDERATION:
1st Consideration will
be the hound having the most wins.
2nd Consideration will
be the hound having the most seconds, etc. until tie is broken.
TABULATION: Tabulation will be done using the complete
list of entries and results of the Futurity trial and the results the results
of Licensed Large Pack trials as reported to the Futurity Secretary/Tabulator.
A form is on the site or can be obtained
from the Futurity secretary and must be turned in by January 31st of
the following year that the hound was entered in the Futurity.
